Description: Goat polyclonal antibody to PDIA6. This protein is a member of the disulfide isomerase (PDI) family of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) proteins that catalyze thiol-disulfide interchange reactions and protein folding.  This protein inhibits the aggregation of misfolded proteins and exhibits both chaperone and isomerase activity.

Alternative names: ERP5, P5, TXNDC7 antibody.

Form: Polyclonal antibody supplied as a 100 µl (3 mg/ml) aliquot in PBS, 20% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide. This antibody is epitope-affinity purified from goat antiserum.

Immunogen: Recombinant peptide derived from within residues 220 aa to the C-terminus of human PDIA6 produced in E. coli.

Specificity: Detects endogenous levels of PDIA6 by Western blot.

Reactivity: Reacts against human, rat, mouse, canine and monkey proteins.
