Description: Goat polyclonal antibody to MGP. This protein is secreted and likely to act as an inhibitor of bone formation. It is found in the organic matrix of bone and cartilage and defects in the gene are a cause of Keutel syndrome.

Form: Polyclonal antibody supplied as a 200 µl (4 mg/ml) aliquot in PBS, 20% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide. This antibody is epitope-affinity purified from goat antiserum.

Immunogen: Purified recombinant peptide derived from within residues 26 aa to the C-terminus of zebra fish MGP produced in E. coli.

Specificity: Detects endogenous levels of MGP protein using 5 days zebrafish embryos lysates.

Reactivity: Reacts against zebrafish protein.
