GST Recombinant Protein

Full Name: Glutathione S- Transferase Recombinant Protein

Catalog No.:P2224-100

Price / Unit: EUR 200.00

Quantity/unit size: 100 µg

Description: GST (glutathione S-transferase) is a 26 KDa protein encoded by the parasitic helminth Schistosoma japonicum and widely used in GST plasmid expression vectors, including pGEX family. This DNA sequence integrated into expression vectors is used for production of recombinant proteins.

Form: Recombinant GST protein supplied as a 100, 200 or 500 µl (1 mg/ml) aliquot in phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH 7.4). This protein was affinity purified E. coli transformed with pGEX expression vector by conventional chromatography techniques (glutathione agarose).

Purity: Purity >95% by SDS-PAGE.

Tested Applications: SDS-PAGE

Application Notes:

Storage Buffer: Phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH 7.4); no azide no glycerol.

Storage Instructions: Store at -80 C for long-term storage; avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Expression System: E. coli
